Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

November 18, 2007 was not the last time I posted. That would be crazy and totally over a year ago.

I certainly did not hola hoop away my evenings this week on Wii Fit.

I did not lick the toys I painted with washable paint to make sure that it didn't come off. Who would test the safety of a toy by doing that?

I certainly didn't avoid cleaning the house all weekend. My house is always spotless.

I did not go into my closet to read my healing scripture because I woke up with a stomach bug. I did NOT then go to sleep on the comforter in the closet.

I did not walk imaginary kids in my sleep away from my side of the bed because I broke a glass before bed and didn't want them to hurt their feet.

I did not become motivated to finally post because MckMama is giving away a funky prize to one winner.

I did not drop my glove two different times this weekend without noticing. My husband did not find them both times and make fun of me.

I am not in the middle of about four books. Not me! I always read one book from start to finish before I start the next one.

I am not still in progress of crocheting a blanket that I started in the Winter of 2003-2004.

I did not ask for a guitar for Christmas. Even it I did, I would absolutely practice everyday not once a month.

I absolutely will not write more often. That would get my handful of family viewers' hopes up.

I did not post when my comment button is STILL BROKEN. I hate getting feedback anyways.

Adios!

Caley has tagged me...It only took me a week to do it : )

What I was doing 10 years ago: Ten years ago I was in 11th grade, 17 years old. I had my first boyfriend (I was a late bloomer ; ) ) Additionally, I got my first job at Bob Evans. I didn't even mean to get a job there. My friend, Tiffany, went to an open interview and I was her ride. So I went in with her. I decided to apply since I was there. I ended up getting a hosting job even though I barely remember the interview because I had a splitting head-ache. I hung out with my friends a lot and was very active in youth group.

What I was doing 5 years ago: I was beginning my senior year for a degree that I do not use and am quite happy about. At Behrend, I was getting an Accounting degree and getting pretty good grades. While going to school, I worked as a student aid at the college's daycare. I worked with Infants and I loved it! People kept questioning why I was going into Accounting instead of a profession with children. I should have listened!!

One year ago: A year ago I got married to my lovely hubby, Jonathan. We moved to Rochester, NY from DE. I tried to get a job in Accounting and ditched it because I couldn't get a job. I felt it was a sign that I wasn't meant to do it. So I started working in child care again and started a year and a half journey to get my second Masters. This one in Childhood Education (grades 1 -6).

Yesterday: We went to Red Robin to enjoy a malt shake and a burger. We split it due to the enormous sizes that matched the enormous prices. Then we went on a mission to get some Christmas presents. You want to know what we got???? I know you do. NOTHING! After all that, we didn't come up with one thing. Additionally, we were looking for an angel for our tree. We have been looking for years. We don't want a tacky one and it is extremely hard not to find one that isn't tacky. That evening we went to Eric's for a party. It was supposed to be a Pre-Thanksgiving dinner but a lot of people backed out. So we had pizza and junk food. It was a great time.

5 snacks I enjoy: Little Debby Swiss Cakes, Kashi Pumpkin Spice Granola Bars, Brownies, Ice Cream, and Molten Chocolate cake. (The only one I eat regularly is the Granola Bars)

5 things I would do if I had $100 Million: Move to Italy and buy a house, have children right away, pay off all debt, spread the wealth to others, and Invest.

5 places I would run away to: Santa Margarita, Italy, Manhattan, KS, Delaware, Florence, and ?

5 TV shows I like: Scrubs, House, Biggest Loser, Kid Nation, and Beauty and the Geek

5 things I hate doing: Cleaning, Driving, Dishes, Laundry, and Ironing

5 biggest joys of the moment: Having only two days of school this week, not having to plan anymore lessons this week, having a potential job when I graduate, having a loving husband, and enjoying Thanksgiving with my family.

I am tagging Kim, Eric, and Jon.

Jon can tell you the story when he caught the squirrel in the act of eating the eye. picture is after a half of a week of them eating our pumpkin. Jon is hoping they get drunk off of it when it starts rotting. They don't seem to mind the mold. Ewww... If you want to see what the pumpkin looked like, check out my flickr account.
