I-90

If you know anything about the distance between exits on I-90 in NY you will appreciate my fustration. (If you don't....consider this...we live by exit 45 and Jon's parents live by exit 60, it takes 2 hours to get there).

I had a lot of misfortunes earlier in the day (it involves syrup, jeans, and my car) and I was ready to go home by the end of the day. My last child didn't leave till after 6pm and I still had school work to do. I got through the tolls and I either have to go straight or right. Now in the mornings....I go right on I-90 and then straight to 390 and the afternoon I need to go straight on I-90 and right on to 490. Well, I got it mixed up along with the construction issues. I got on I-90 west (toward Buffalo). It is 13 miles to the next exit. I was so close to making an illegal U-Turn b/c of the distance. I was a good girl and I went all the way to exit 43 and turned around. Finally I was going the right direction and I had a guy on my butt and wouldn't get off. I finally sped up to get in front of the semi and i saw a police car. I was like crap. I was going 75 until I got in front and thats when I saw him hiding in the woods. I kept peeking behind and no police ever showed up behind me. Believe me he would have gotten a sob story from me. He didn't even pull over the car on my butt that took off once I was out of the way.

I should have been home in 25 minutes...it took me an hour. ICK! Next time I am making a U-Turn...

Rochester......Here we come!

Jonathan is officially unemployeed. Well, until Monday that is. He has accepted a position in Rochester, NY. He is very excited to be with Eric (or as Jon calls him "Erico").

It will be a big change for us. We have called Delaware home for the last year and a half. There will be a lot of people we will miss. Co-workers and babies. But life brings new adventures and we have to trust that they are worth all the changes.

Here is to many hours at Panera''s for Eric and Jon to do their "work"!
